After hours upon days of sifting through the entries, a winner has been chosen and it is a wonderful design. Congratulations to Jethro Law and Chris Perez for their sleek, encapsulating design. We are hoping to have the shirts for sale starting at the Wisconsin game-watching.

History of Austin Spirit Group Registered officially as a Spirit Group with the University Alumni Association in 2006, the Austin Alumni community exsisted long before thanks to the Maize and Blue blood we all share. Over the years, a few dedicated Wolverines have contributed significant time and energy to broading the scope and impact of the club. Steve Katz was the fearless Wolverine leader in Austin around 2002 and before him Harvey Ring was coordinated activities area alumni. Steve decided to pass the torch in 2006 to Christine Fernandez and Corey Fernandez (no relation). After a great effort to grow the club and establish new events Christine gave way to Scott Brown. Scott led the Spirit Group though the tumultuous 2007 football season and continued to build the foundation of the club. Before leaving to pursue an MBA in the summer of 2008 Scott transistoned his responsibilities to Andy Fletcher. As more fellow Wolverines join us in the Lone Star State, we will continue to welcome them into our family. For more information email us at michigan-austin@hotmail.com.
